I decided today that I wanted get back into the Theme Thursday action with Clan Donaldson. I hop on over to her blog and check out the themes for this month and what do I get? Dreaming! Now I have a day to figure out how to capture a picture of dreaming. Well, when you guys read this I’ll (hopefully) already have it all together, but for right now I’m thinking this was a tough week to get back into Theme Thursdays!
My original thought on this theme was to do something artsy. To spell out Dream with different objects and take some cool photos of the word. But then, I was sitting on my couch in the RV looking out the window, daydreaming about future travels and it hit me. I need a picture of THIS! But how do I take a picture of myself with my camera? I know there has to be a timer function on it, but I have never used it and didn’t even know where to look. Now, a smart person would just go grab the user manual and take a few seconds to read what they needed to know. Did I do that? Nope. I started playing with my camera and found an “Interval Timer Shooting” function. I set the camera to take 12 photos at 10 seconds apart and set it up. I pressed the button and dashed over to the couch and, to my surprise, got some great photos! My hair may be a mess and my clothes my be scroungy, but it all works with the light.
Oh, and I did find that timer button on the front of my camera after I finished the interval pictures.
Make sure you head on over to Clan Donaldson to see more versions of Dreaming!
Very dreamy!
What a fun idea! Thanks for sharing – and welcome back. 🙂
Interval timer! Amazing! I must figure out if I have this function. Would have been reeeeeeeally helpful when doing the big family photo this past week.
Right? I got your Christmas card and picture and it is adorable, funny faces and all!
