Within five minutes of waking up today, I was having a bad day. I was actually grateful that today was Ten on Ten day. It forced me to find beautiful things through-out the day.
First, I put on my favorite shirt
It may be foggy, but it’s still beautiful where I live.
A little dark and gloomy, but still beautiful.
A co-worker brought in this yummy baked French bread. It was wonderful
What is beautiful about stacks of paper? 1. They kept me busy for most of the morning and 2. I’m done with them!
Still foggy, but I love the view from the break room at work.
Some wonderful person brought these beautiful macaroons in the office. They were delicious!
Flowers outside our building
Our Christmas tree in the lobby
We have these great old photos all along the walls in our building of Fresno.
That was my beautiful day! If you would like to see more Ten on Ten post, visit A Bit of Sunshine.
I know it’s past the 10th, but when you have limited internet access you get really flexible with when your posts are published. All these pictures were taken on the 10th though. They were taken on my drive from Fredericton, New Brunswick to Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia. Enjoy!
10:00 a.m. – My campsite from the night before in Fredericton.
11:00 a.m. – Visitor Center
Noon – Stop at the ATM for some cash
1:00 p.m. – Hopewell Rocks
I did not go in to see the rocks because it was $9.00 to see rocks and a high tide. Nope, not gonna happen.
2:00 p.m. – Scenic view from the road
3:00 p.m. – I’m in Nova Scotia!
4:00 p.m. – Didn’t have time to stop to take a picture at 4, so here is a view from the visitor center in Nova Scotia.
5:00 p.m. – Almost there
6:00 pm – I have arrived!
7:00 p.m. – My room for the next couple of weeks
I’m terrible at remembering to do 10 on 10 posts! This is my second one in over a year! I’m hoping to get better at remembering to do them, but for now, here is my 10 0n 10 in Asheville, NC at the home I am housesitting for.
I had plans to go out exploring and thrift store shopping today, but one thing after another happened this morning and I finally decided to make it a quiet day at home. Here is my day in 10 pictures over 10 hours.
8:50 a.m. – Breakfast
9:50 am – This was supposed to be a picture of my workspace for the day, but the picture was blurry and I didn’t like it. Instead I give you, the sneaky cat that I found in the house that doesn’t live here. I love the look he is giving me, like “how DARE you chase me out of your house!”
10:50 a.m. – Enjoying an ice cold Diet Pepsi in my Dad Horse Experience coozie
11:50 a.m. – Picking out what jewelry to wear. This resulted in me locking my keys in the van. I went out to the van to get a necklace and after I had chosen which one I wanted I scooped up all the rest and put them back in the box, along with the van key. Also, the clasp broke on the necklace I wanted to wear. Not my day for jewelry.
12:50 p.m. Lounging Kitties
1:50 p.m. – Window View
2:50 p.m. – Time to check the mail
3:50 p.m. – Out in the garden
4:50 p.m. – Notes for work
5:50 p.m. – My goal tonight is to finish this book

Last month as I was poking around other blogs and looking for something fun to incorporate into our blog I found the Ten on Ten Photo Project. It’s simple; on the tenth of each month you take a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours. Simple, but fun!
Today as I was driving to work I realized that it was the 10th and I should be taking my 10 pictures. I was really disappointed at first because I didn’t bring my camera to work with me. But then I thought, who cares, and decided to use my cell phone camera. I think this will be a fun little project that will show how much my days differ from life in an office, to life at home, to life on the road. I’m really curious as to what all the pictures will be when I look at them a year from now.
So enjoy ten hours of my life on Wednesday April 10th:
Life in the office
8 a.m. Time to start my work day!
9 a.m. – Annoyed by revisions to something I already printed 100 copies of
10 a.m. – Making another 94 copies of a letter. Let’s hope it doesn’t get revised again!
11 a.m. Excedrin for the headache which is probably caused by the allergies that I need the other bottle of pills for and a snack.
Noon – Ready for my lunchtime walk!
1 p.m. – Back in my office after my lunch time walk.
2 p.m. – a walk thru the warehouse to get a soda
3 p.m. – still looking at these letters…Having to re-stuff envelopes. Is it time to go home yet??
4 p.m. – Snack time
5 p.m. (ok, a few minutes early) – I’m outta here!
I have to say, this was a really fun project. I already can’t wait for next month!
Now that you have seen my exciting office day, head over and check out all the other Ten on Ten posts here and be sure to come back tomorrow for Theme Thursday!
