I’ve had my pictures for this theme prepared since Easter. The sky was so blue that day and the clouds were all fluffy and perfect for Theme Thursday pictures.
Then this weekend Lacy and I were out hiking at Montaña de Oro State Park and I was trying to capture a picture of a bird that was hanging out on a post near us. We kept inching toward him trying not to scare him so I could get close enough to snap a great picture of him. Needless to say, it didn’t work and he flew off. It did make for some great sky pictures that I didn’t expect though!
There are more pictures of Montaña de Oro State Park in Tuesday’s post if you would like to see them.
Now head over to Clan Donaldson to check out all the rest of the Theme Thursday skies.
The second and third photos are breathtaking. I also just read your “about” page. How fun! I’ll be looking in on your adventures. 🙂
I just love Easter at my parents house. It is just so beautiful up there that time of year. The rest of the year everything is pretty brown 😦
We are excited about our adventures!! Our departure date is coming up so fast!
I really like the bird pictures. Wish I could soar like that.
I rather like the “junk” in the photos. It adds something…character, maybe? Whatever it is, I like it!
Holy Memories, Batman! I have such great memories of your parents’ house and property. And the requisite junk that’s on everyone’s property up there!
Those are really stunning. And I forgive you for the bird shots because this one *is* sort of majestic.
Hey! You had a bird in yours as well. Well, maybe it doesn’t count if you didn’t know it was there.
That pile of junk has grown and multiplied all over the property. Dad finally gave me permission to sell a lot of it off. I think we could fund our entire year off just by selling that junk!
Those clouds are so beautiful! And I think the junk looks cool 🙂
